Bred and released by Virginia Tech this hard red wheat variety is well adapted to our organic system and is a customer favorite. Rich in dietary fiber and vitamins, with medium gluten strength, it imparts a mild nutty flavor with notes of cinnamon and honey.
 
This product is grown in transitional field using certified organic practices, with OMRI approved natural fertilizers and no harmful chemical pesticide, fungicide or herbicides applied to the crop.
 
Unsifted (whole) flour, sifted (#70) flour, and fine sifted (#90) flour grades are available through our online store in 1 kg and 2 kg heat-sealed bags, "tin tab" poly-lined craft paper bags, as well as 10kg poly-lined hand-sewed bags.
